The Values Based Basketball website and philosophy is the creation of Chris McCallum. This approach to teaching life through basketball is the product of his personal practice and continues to be developed through his coaching experiences, academic research, and his work in the field of coaching and athletics administration.

Chris McCallum is a father, a husband, an educator, and a student/coach of life through basketball. He has over 13 years of experience within the profession of teaching and has been involved in coaching the game of Basketball for over 15 years. These roles have been carried out in the international contexts of 3 different countries. Canada, China, and most recently Germany.
